What we will not claim

• We do not rank or score contractors. Nothing here supports it.
• We do not infer good standing from presence in a register. A contractor's presence means a record exists, not that they are in good standing; absence can mean they work below a threshold and are lawfully unregistered.
• We do not present a registration as a licence.
• We do not publish per-contractor records — see About.

Where a source is sparse, we say so rather than ranking on it

A disciplinary field covering a fraction of a percent of licensees cannot order anything: rank on it and nearly every contractor renders clean regardless of their actual standing, which reads as a positive finding about each one. Such fields are reported as individual facts where they exist and are never used to sort.

Corrections are published, not quietly patched
